Black Hills Timber Equipment offers reliable nationwide delivery for machinery, equipment, vehicles, trailers, and other items sold by our company. Transportation is arranged using appropriately sized commercial trailers and qualified, insured transport providers.
Each item is carefully inspected, secured, and prepared for transport before leaving our facility. Machinery is loaded using suitable ramps, loading equipment, chains, straps, and tie down systems based on the size and weight of the item.
Delivery pricing is based on mileage, equipment dimensions, weight, route, permits, and any special loading or unloading requirements. Estimated delivery dates and times may be affected by traffic, weather, road closures, mechanical issues, permit requirements, or other circumstances outside our control.
The buyer must inspect the item immediately upon delivery while the driver is still present. The buyer should verify the condition of the item and confirm that it matches the purchase agreement and listing description.
Any visible transportation damage or major discrepancy must be reported to us before the driver leaves. Photos and written documentation may be required.
Items delivered by Black Hills Timber Equipment include a one day inspection and return period, unless otherwise stated in writing before the sale.
The buyer has up to 24 hours from the recorded delivery time to inspect the item and notify Black Hills Timber Equipment in writing of a qualifying return request.
A return may be considered when the item has a significant mechanical defect, undisclosed material damage, or a major condition issue that substantially differs from the written listing or purchase agreement.
Returns will not be accepted for financing issues, failure to obtain permits, improper use, operator error, damage occurring after delivery, or conditions that were visible and accepted during inspection.
Unless a return is approved due to a significant undisclosed condition, all return delivery expenses, transportation costs, inspection fees, permits, and loading charges are the responsibility of Black Hills Timber Equipment. In the event of an approved return, the full amount paid by the buyer will be fully refunded.
Approved refunds will be processed on the same day the item is delivered and refused by the buyer. Our driver will remain on site during the buyer's inspection. If the buyer determines that the item qualifies for a return under our policy and the return is approved, we will initiate a full refund immediately. Once the refund has been processed, our driver will reload the item onto the trailer and transport it back to our facility.
